Thanksgiving

We had a nice, low key Thanksgiving this year. We decided to stay home and spend it with Dan's family since they almost all live here close by. It was great not having to travel and to just relax at home for a few days. We spent Thanksgiving day at Dan's Dad's house and the dinner was wonderful. Cal had a great time playing with his 3 dogs and running around with his cousins. It was wonderful to visit with Dan's extended family and we just ate, relaxed, and ate some more. But what would Thanksgiving be if not that??

I'm not the biggest pumpkin pie fan, but I pretty much LOVE anything pumpkin other than that. So the past few years I've opted to make a pumpkin cheesecake instead topped with caramel sauce. It is delish and my new favorite Thanksgiving treat.

Rolls are another one of my favorite parts of Thanksgiving and my sister's recipe for cresent rolls is the BEST!
Our little boy adores dogs and Steve's dog Sadie is so good with kids. Cal sat on her over and over again and she was just so sweet and patient and licked him and let him play. Cal was in heaven!
