New Year's Eve in Oceanside

After our trip to Phoenix we wrapped up our vacation back in San Diego with a quick stay in Oceanside at Dan's family's timeshare to celebrate New Years. We had a great time being at a warmer beach (since our beaches in SF aren't exactly warm most of the time) and just relaxing with the fam. We took some walks on the beach, played RockBand with Dave and his friend Andrew, played games, rode beach bikes around the pier, and just had a great time talking. All around we had such a fun holiday break and miss all our families so much! We're so glad we got to go see so many people.

Cal is such an easy going baby. He loves to fall asleep on the go--in his carseat or his carriers. Makes getting out so much easier! I am so grateful!

Mel, Dan and me....we had SO much fun riding bikes around after dark. I haven't ridden a bike in forever and it was a blast!

On New Year's Day we headed back up to San Fran nice and early to beat the LA traffic. Cal was a great sport for his first road trip--Hooray!!!
