Graduation Day #2

Here are lots of fun pictures from the second day of Dan's graduation where we attended his department ceremony. This is when it is just all of the students in the Department of Communications and they actually walk and receive their diplomas one by one. It was really fun because Dan became close to a lot of the people in the Advertising major so it was great for him to see them all again and to visit with them as well as many of his favorite professors/mentors. The highlight of the day was that Dan's mom Tami, stepdad Lee, Grandma Meier, and brother Andrew were all able to be there all the way from San Diego. They drove up from California the night before and it meant so much to us that they made the long drive to be with us on Dan's special day. Also, it was really nice that my Dad was able to be there after just getting back in town from being in Phoenix for tax season. After the ceremony on Friday morning we all went and visited the Ad Lab where Dan worked his last semester at BYU. It was fun to show our family and let them see some of the projects Dan worked on and have him meet some of his coworkers and professors. Afterwards we all went and had a delicious lunch at JDawgs together. That night we also went to Costa Vida with all of Dan's family in town as well as my Dad, my brother Jon and his wife Danica, and my sister Amy and her friend Ken. We had a great time spending the rest of the weekend with our families and enjoying time relaxing in Utah.
