Day at the Zoo

So back in January my friend from college, Teri, who lives in UT, called me up and told me she had some tickets to the San Diego Zoo that she wasn't going to be able to use and wanted to send them to us! We were so grateful and excited since we'd been wanting to go but just hadn't made it yet. We were stoked to take Cal for the first time to a zoo and to hang out as a family. We spend a Saturday afternoon there just meandering around, taking pictures, playing, and showing Cal all the awesome animals. He thought it was pretty fun but also wanted to run around. So we just took it slow and enjoyed the beautiful day. I would have to say our favorites were the grizzly bears, elephants, lions, and the hippos! All those animals were so close to us and interacted a lot with the onlookers. They put on a great show. Such a fun day.

This made Mom nervous......but luckily the camel didn't eat him. Are camels dangerous??
