A couple of Saturdays ago we went on a picnic with Matt & Liz to a park right by a beach looking out at the Golden Gate called Crissy Field. The weather forecast said it was going to be gorgious, sunny, and 75 degrees---turns out it was more like very foggy, windy, quite cold, and 58. Oh well, I guess that is San Francisco weather for you. You have to take what you can while you have it because the weather can change really really fast. But despite the weather we hoped it would clear up so we ventured on our picnic anyhow. It ended up being really fun and the weather even got a bit sunnier as the day wore on. We had to park our cars in an L shape on the grass to help block the wind, but it helped a lot and we were able to enjoy ourselves. Luckily the wind was good for flying kites so Dan, Matt, and Maddie had a blast doing that. We also played some frisbee and threw around the softball some. It is so great to be in a place where there is so much to do outdoors. We are loving it!
