A week or two before Easter we got together with Dan's family to celebrate and do a little egg hunt for the Grandkiddos. We made a delicious salad bar potluck at our house and the kids had a blast running around and being together as usual. They were SO excited to hunt for eggs.

The loot....(please excuse the disaster this corner of the yard was in. It has since been weeded, cleaned up, and turned into a garden thanks to my hubby! It was definitely in need of some tlc. :) )
What could be more fun for kids than running around the backyard finding hidden plastic eggs with candy inside?!

My mother-in-law brought over the most beautiful vase of flowers from her very own yard! They were so beautiful and we enjoyed them all week long. I love having fresh flowers.
