Catching Up

So it's about time I did some catch up blogging from the last couple months, now that we are getting settled and things are starting to slow down just a teeny bit. During our last few weeks in San Francisco we did so many fun things and saw so many fun things that I just can't not post about them. Plus, my goal is to someday have the blog printed into a book so bear with me as I go back in time--I just don't want to miss anything! :)

Back at the end of January a bunch of really great restaurant's in San Francisco participate in 'Dine About Town' where they lower their prices for a fixed menu over a couple weeks and so you can go and have amazing meals for a great price at awesome restaurants that you normally couldn't afford to try. We wanted to take advantage of the opportunity so while it was going on we made it out to dinner twice. Once to Le Colonial (a delicious French-Vietnamese restaurant downtown...SO good!) and the other time we went with our friends the Nings on a Hornblower Dinner Cruise in the Bay. We got reservations last minute because the other restaurants we were interested in originally were totally booked. But even though the food wasn't the most amazing San Francisco cuisine, it was still a really fun experience and something you have to do at least once while you're living in the bay area. It happened to be a rainy night, so we probably didn't get quite the views we normally would have, but we still had a great time!

Getting off the boat and into the rain!

Back in February we also had a great fondue party with some of our friends. It was good times and amazing food! Here are a few pics from the night.
