Baby Shower & Spending Time with Family

The other weekend my sweet friend Liz Carpenter was kind enough to throw me a baby shower with a bunch of the girls here in San Francisco. It was so much fun and I can't even believe all the hard work she put into it. She did such a great job! Another thing that made the whole weekend great was that we got to have some family come into town and stay with us too! My big sister Allyson and her two little girls Carlie and Rachel came up from Visalia and then Dan's mom and Grandma Meier flew up from San Diego. It was definitely a girl's weekend and even though it was busy it was a blast! It was so fun to see my sister and spend time with her as well as Dan's mom and grandma. The shower turned out perfectly and we all had a great time. We got so many cute and useful things for our little boy. I can't wait to try them out! Now he just needs to get here so we can put everything to good use! Thank you SO much to all the girls who came!

Besides the baby shower, the rest of the weekend we just spent relaxing with family and hanging out at home. Dan's brother Matt just left for another coast guard tour for 4 months so we had a little goodbye dinner for him. We'll miss seeing him but we're so glad April is still close by and we're so excited about their little one on the way!
