San Francisco with the Rogers

After our Monterey excursion my sister and her family (The Rogers) came back up to San Fran with us and stayed for a couple nights at our house. It was exciting not only to get to spend more time with them but also to see how many people our new place could really hold! Even though we really miss our little condo in Provo, we can't deny how wonderful it is to have so much more space. We feel really lucky to have found this apartment in the city! On Sunday afternoon we did a little San Francisco 101 tour and went by a Golden Gate Bridge lookout, down Lombard Street, to the 'Full House' houses/park, and for a walk in Golden Gate Park. We're not exactly the smoothest of tour guides yet, since we're still learning the city ourselves, but we still had a great time. We had fun taking one or two of the kids in our car at a time and riding around. On Monday Allyson and Marc took Chandler and Rachel and did the Alcatraz tour while Dan and I stayed with Carlie and Caleb and walked around Fisherman's Wharf. We had a great time seeing sea lions, boats, crazy guys doing stunts on the street, pier 39, and of course Burger King--since they're not quite fish kids yet. :) It was so much fun seeing the Rogers and I'm so glad we're much closer to them now! We miss them already!
