Cal at 3.5

And here are a few more pictures of Cal from a random afternoon that I snapped some pictures of him playing outside in January. Such a cute cute boy! Can't believe he'll be 4 before I know it!

This boy is obsessed with all his "animals" and "pets" right now. He loves them all and they are all over the house at any given time.

But he especially loves sleeping with all his friends. His bed is covered in tiger skin, stuffed dinosaurs and bears, rubber lizards and other reptiles....everyone from the Henry animal kingdom is invited. Sometimes I want to just clear it all off, but then I can't bring myself to. He loves them so much and it is pretty darn cute. This is a not so great picture of him sleeping with his animals, but I couldn't help but try and capture it one night. (And please excuse the back-up sheets on his bed that were in fact mine when I was 6. haha.)

A couple of recent Calvinisms:

Scarlett was fussing and mad in the backseat of the car one day so Dan asked Cal what was wrong with her. His response (very serious I might add), "I'm stretching sissy to make her grow bigger!!"

C: "Mom, why do you call me Calvin?"
M: "What do you mean? What else would I call you?"
C: "I don't know....maybe Snuggle Bear?"

Oh and Cal is discovering that curls are his trademark. He was pretty surprised to find out the other day that Scarlett is getting curly hair, because "just he has curly hair". But once he realized girls could have curls too, he was pretty satisfied. I've even got him trained to never touch a brush. Haha. :) I hope he never stops liking his curls because I just adore them so much.
