We Are Moving!

So there IS a reason I am SO behind on this little blog and let's be honest, in my life in general...

We are MOVING!

Hooray! We are so excited. We are buying our first house in Oceanside and get the keys in another day or two. It is sorta surreal that this is really happening and we've had such a crazy busy last month or two that it has all been such a whirlwind. But it definitely is happening and we've already signed our life away and in just a couple short days we will officially be home owners! It is so bittersweet to move away from our home here in Poway and will dearly dearly miss our friends, our ward, the community, Cal's preschool, the super close proximity to family, and much more. But we are also very excited for this new chapter in our lives and to finally put some roots down for awhile. Dan will have a little longer of a commute to work, but he will also be able to have a home office and work from home some of the week, so it works out nicely. We did a lot of searching in San Diego and were excited about Oceanside since we found a cute neighborhood, a really good elementary school, close distance to shopping, etc. and were able to get significantly more for our money compared to where we currently are. Plus, we figured, you can't beat getting closer to the coast! So alas, this is where we ended up! And we feel so good about it. 

We know being homeowners will come with the good and bad, so hopefully we'll survive the challenges. But all in all, we can't wait to have our own place again and get everything all set up! We'll have lots of room for visitors so PLEASE come visit us. We are just several miles from the beach. :)

I'll pose more pictures in the coming months and hopefully soon I'll actually get caught up on our lives and all our other happenings. But in the meantime, its pack, pack, pack!! :) Please wish me luck. I'm gonna need it. There might be nothing in the world I loathe more than packing and moving. I can already feel the anxiety attacks coming......BREATHE!!!!
